Notice version 2026-09-v1 — effective 4 September 2026
This notice explains how the Athlete Management System ("the platform") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information. It applies to athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, and other users of the platform, and is intended to meet the requirements of the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017.
To be completed by the federation — the organisation operating this platform (the data controller) and its privacy contact details have not been configured yet. In the meantime, please contact your club administrator for any privacy question or request.
Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect and store:
Access is role-based and limited to what each role needs:
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
The platform is hosted on infrastructure operated for the federation; there are no routine international transfers of your personal data.
Hosting location to be confirmed by the federation — this statement will be updated if the hosting arrangement changes.

You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, contact the data controller (section 1) or your club administrator. We will respond within the deadlines set by the Data Protection Act 2017.
If you are not satisfied with how your personal data is handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Mauritius Data Protection Office (dataprotection.govmu.org).
The consent you give by ticking the acceptance checkbox may be withdrawn at any time by contacting the data controller (section 1) or your club administrator. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. Because consent is needed to operate your account, withdrawing it will normally result in your account being deactivated.
If a personal data breach occurs, affected users and the Data Protection Office will be notified as required by law.
Youth athletes are an important part of the federation. Registration for a minor should be completed and consented to by a parent or legal guardian, and the parent/guardian's details should be recorded as the emergency contact. Guardians may exercise the rights in section 8 on behalf of the minor.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing. Selection standings are computed by the platform, but every selection decision is reviewed and confirmed by coaches.
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of medical data at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging of sensitive actions, and HTTPS encryption in transit. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security; users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and reporting any suspected unauthorised access.
This is version 2026-09-v1 of the notice, effective 4 September 2026. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the platform and update the version shown here.
By creating an account or using this platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this notice.
